Melvin Wayne Smith, a 40-year-old resident of Danville, Virginia, tragically passed away on March 4, 2020. According to reports, Smith was found in the front yard of his home on Summit Road with apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
