In the winter of 2016, a young man's life was cut short in Danville, Virginia. Devontaye Jermaine Johnson, a 23-year-old male, was killed by gun violence on February 24th in the 200 block of Halifax Street. The incident prompted an investigation that would ultimately lead to the indictment of four individuals.
