In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Danville, Virginia, the life of 38-year-old Randy Lamar Womack was tragically cut short. On May 14, 2023, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the 700 block of Hughes Street around 11 p.m. Upon their arrival, they discovered Womack suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to SOVAH Health, but tragically, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
