Caitlin Millar Hammaren, a 19-year-old student from Blacksburg, Virginia, tragically lost her life on April 16, 2007, during the Virginia Tech shootings. Caitlin was one of the 32 victims killed by gunman Cho Seung-Hui in what became the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history.
