Jalier Lamar "Ja" Burleigh, born on May 24, 1988, in Richmond, Virginia, passed away on June 10, 2007, at the age of 19. He was survived by his mother, Patricia Otey; father, Jesse Blackwell; brother, Jesse Burleigh; two sisters, Tranique Beasley and Jasmine Johnson; and his grandmother, Annie S. Burleigh. A funeral service was held at Chiles Funeral Home, followed by interment at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Richmond.
