On the night of October 26, 2022, the life of Ronnel Wayne, a 30-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short in Richmond, Virginia. Around 10:30 p.m., police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Chamberlayne Avenue following reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Wayne unresponsive in the courtyard of an apartment building. He had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
