Chavez Tyson Williams, a 36-year-old resident of Hampton, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 19, 2011. Williams was shot in the 400 block of Chapel Street by an unknown assailant in a passing vehicle. Despite being transported to a local hospital, he was pronounced dead early the next morning. The incident occurred late at night, around 11:18 p.m., when police received multiple 911 calls reporting gunfire in the area.
