In the late hours of April 27, 2025, the life of 33-year-old Dante Wingate, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Hampton, Virginia. At approximately 10:40 p.m., police were called to Woodland Road where they found Wingate suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to a local hospital for medical attention, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
