Ameer Kareem Hamid Baksh, a 20-year-old resident of Virginia Beach, VA, tragically lost his life on April 5, 2012. Ameer was fatally shot in the Windsor Oaks neighborhood while riding his skateboard in the 3800 block of Old Forge Road. The incident occurred just after 4:30 p.m., and officers arrived to find Ameer with a gunshot wound. He was transported to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
