In the early hours of a Sunday morning in Virginia Beach, Virginia, the life of 39-year-old Robert Atwood, a male, was tragically cut short. On January 31, 2016, at approximately 12:52 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the 5800 block of Newtown Arch. Upon arrival, they discovered Atwood suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
