On June 29, 2024, at approximately 3:06 a.m., Virginia Beach Police responded to a report of a gunshot victim at the Atlantis Apartment complex on Atlantis Drive. Upon arrival, officers discovered 24-year-old Jesus Alfredo Jeronimo Can deceased at the scene from an apparent gunshot wound.
