On April 4, 2022, 23-year-old Talon Rodgers and his wife, Alisa Wash, also 23, were found shot to death in their home in the Thalia Gardens complex. The couple had only been married for a few weeks before their lives were cut short. A neighbor, prompted by a concerned friend of the couple, had called 911 after Talon failed to show up for work.
Police arriving at the scene pronounced both Talon and Alisa dead from apparent gunshot wounds.
