On June 18, 2023, at approximately 12:32 a.m., Virginia Beach Police responded to multiple ShotSpotter alerts and 911 calls reporting gunfire near Coachman Court and Broad Meadows Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29-year-old Daron Kenard Parker of Suffolk, Virginia, lying outside an apartment in the 900 block of Coachman Court.
