Carlton "CJ" Richard Holland Jr., a 31-year-old resident of Suffolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on January 1, 2013. He was attending a New Year's Eve party in the 400 block of Linden Avenue when he was fatally shot in the upper chest area. First responders found him in the road, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital at approximately 3:55 a.m. on New Year's Day.
