On a summer evening in Suffolk, Virginia, what initially appeared to be a multi-vehicle accident soon revealed a more sinister story. On July 12, 2019, emergency responders arrived at the 6000 block of College Drive to find two damaged cars. The driver of one of the vehicles, 19-year-old Sidney Watson, a male, was found deceased at the scene. It was quickly determined that a gunshot wound was the cause of his death, turning the crash site into a homicide investigation.
