In the afternoon hours of a Sunday in Suffolk, Virginia, the life of 30-year-old Corey Lovell Baker was tragically cut short. On November 4, 2018, emergency services received a call about a shooting at approximately 2:30 p.m. and responded to the 1000 block of Nansemond Parkway. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Baker, who had been fatally shot. Despite any life-saving efforts that may have been attempted, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
