Corey Lovell Baker, a 30-year-old resident of Suffolk, Virginia, tragically lost his life on November 4, 2018. The incident occurred in the 1000 block of Nansemond Parkway around 2:30 p.m. Baker was shot and killed at the scene, despite immediate medical efforts by police officers and emergency medical services.
