In the summer of 2019, a series of violent events unfolded in Suffolk, Virginia, leaving two men dead and three others, including a toddler, wounded. The life of 22-year-old Aaron Tyrone Porter of Suffolk came to an end on Friday, August 2, 2019, amidst this burst of gunfire that spanned two city blocks. His body was discovered on First Avenue, having sustained a single gunshot wound.
