On July 10, 2018, in Montgomery, Alabama, a fatal altercation occurred involving Erica Allen, 29, and Cynthia Hand, 41. The incident began as a verbal dispute between the two women, which escalated into a physical confrontation. During the altercation, Hand fatally shot Allen. Subsequently, Courtney Morris, 26, identified as Allen's boyfriend, intervened and fatally shot Hand.
