In the late hours of a summer evening in Montgomery, Alabama, a violent encounter left a man fighting for his life. On July 1, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., police and first responders were dispatched to the 1200 block of Townplace Drive following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered 46-year-old Karim Seabrooks suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was a male victim of the city's ongoing struggles with gun violence.
