Barbara D. Hart Smith, a 61-year-old African American woman, was fatally shot on the night of February 11, 2025, in Montgomery, Alabama. The incident occurred around 10:27 p.m. in the 500 block of East South Boulevard. Upon arrival, Montgomery police officers found Barbara D. Hart Smith deceased from a gunshot wound.
