On a tragic Monday afternoon, May 1, 2017, the life of 14-year-old Jaquerria Timmons was cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. A student at Bellingrath Middle School, the young girl was in the yard of a church near her school when she was fatally wounded. She was struck by a single gunshot to the chest and, despite being rushed to a local hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
