In the summer of 2025, the life of 28-year-old Carmilla Taylor was cut short by an act of gun violence in Montgomery, Alabama. On the evening of Sunday, June 15th, a shooting erupted on East South Boulevard, leaving one woman dead and another seriously injured. The deceased was later identified as Carmilla Taylor.
