On the morning of March 18, 2024, the body of 20-year-old Alexia Shepherd was discovered in Montgomery, Alabama. A resident of the city, the young African American female was found by Montgomery police and fire medics who were responding to a call about a deceased individual in the 5100 block of Carmichael Road. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy later performed by the Alabama Department of Forensic Science determined that Shepherd had died from a fatal gunshot wound. Her de ...
