Jasmine Chillous, a 34-year-old Black woman from Montgomery, was shot and killed on Friday, September 26, 2025. Police were called at about 6:51 p.m. to the 500 block of Stone Street, just off Rosa Parks Avenue near the I-85/I-65 interchange. Officers found Chillous suffering from a gunshot wound and she was pronounced dead at the scene as the evening commute pressed past the overpasses and the neighborhood settled into dusk.
Detectives opened a homicide investigation and asked the public
