In the winter of 2021, the life of Katherine Elizabeth Simmons, a 29-year-old female, was tragically cut short in Montgomery, Alabama. On the afternoon of Tuesday, January 26th, she was the victim of a fatal shooting at an apartment complex in the city. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, and Simmons was rushed to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
