On April 3, 2023, at approximately 2 p.m., Montgomery Police Department officers and Fire Medics responded to a shooting incident on Mulberry Street near Interstate 85 Southbound in Montgomery, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Amaree’ Jackson, a Montgomery resident, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
