In the early evening of October 28, 2019, a simmering family conflict reached its tragic conclusion in the parking lot of Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia. The life of 36-year-old Earl Bryant Boone Jr. was cut short in a violent encounter with his own father. The younger Boone was walking toward the hospital around 6:30 p.m. when he was confronted by his father, Earl Bryant Boone Sr.
