In the early morning hours of November 18, 2022, the life of Demarcus Trae'Von Anderson, a 28-year-old Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Suffolk, Virginia. The incident unfolded inside a residence on E. Washington Street, where Anderson was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds. The Suffolk 911 Center had received a call from a woman at the residence reporting the shooting. When police officers arrived, they found Anderson, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
