On a tragic Saturday afternoon, January 12, 2013, the life of 17-year-old Clifton Little Jr. was cut short by gun violence in Norfolk, Virginia. The incident unfolded around 3 p.m. in the 1700 block of Greenleaf Drive in the Diggs Town neighborhood. Responding to a call about a shooting, Norfolk police officers found the teenager suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
