In the early morning hours of May 29, 2015, the life of 58-year-old Deaullandy G. Coleman, a Black male, was tragically cut short in a violent encounter at his home in Richmond, Virginia. Responding to a call at approximately 4:08 a.m., Richmond police discovered Coleman at his residence on the 400 block of Old Carnation Street, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a local hospital, but later that afternoon, he succumbed to his injuries.
