A 22-year-old Richmond man, Dashawn Khan, was fatally shot on December 25, 2024, in a stairwell at an apartment complex in Richmond, Virginia. The incident occurred just before 9:30 p.m. when officers responded to reports of gunfire at the complex located in the 1400 block of Clarkson Road. Upon arrival, authorities discovered Khan, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the torso. Tragically, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
