Death by Force

Isaiah James, a 19-year-old from Petersburg, Virginia, was tragically killed on March 6, 2022, in Richmond. The incident occurred around 10:12 p.m. when Richmond Police officers responded to reports of shots fired in the 1100 block of North 20th Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims: Shemar Howlett, 21, of North Chesterfield, and Isaiah James. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds, with Howlett found at the initial location and James nearby at Mosby and Littlepage streets.
