Leroy Ramos, a 47-year-old male, had recently relocated from New York and begun a new chapter of his life in Decatur, Georgia, working as a MARTA bus driver. A father to two daughters and a son, he was only a few months into his new job when his life was tragically cut short on the evening of Friday, January 3, 2025. The fatal encounter began over a dispute concerning a $2.50 bus fare at the Decatur MARTA station.
