Mario Washington, a 41-year-old African American man from Decatur, GA, tragically lost his life on August 23, 2018, in an accidental shooting incident. The incident occurred on Interstate 285 near Flat Shoals Road in DeKalb County. Mario Washington was driving his car with three passengers, including his wife, when he was shot by one of the passengers in the back seat.
