In the fall of 2017, the life of 17-year-old Nyatole Eh was cut tragically short in Decatur, Georgia. On Saturday, October 7, 2017, an argument escalated to a fatal encounter, leaving the young man with multiple gunshot wounds to his stomach. The incident occurred at an apartment on East Ponce de Leon Avenue.
The investigation into the shooting led authorities to arrest 57-year-old Paw Law on the following Monday. Law was the mother of Nyatole Eh's fiancée and was reportedly resentful of the fact that he had gotten her daughter pregnant. Authorities believe this resentment was the motive for the deadly confrontation.
Following her arrest at her home in Clarkston, Paw Law was charged with the murder of her daughter's fiancé. She was subsequently booked into the DeKalb County jail to await legal proceedings.
