In the late summer evening of August 30, 2015, the life of 35-year-old Deon Blowe was tragically cut short in Norfolk, Virginia. Gunshots shattered the peace in the 1200 block of Bunsen Court, and when police arrived shortly before 11:00 p.m., they discovered Blowe suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation into the male victim's death was swift, and the following day, authorities announced an arrest in connection with the homicide.
Tylik Laquonne Reid was taken into custody and faced charges of second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The Norfolk Police Department's Homicide Detectives continued to delve into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in bringing clarity and justice to the case.
