Edward Atkinson, age 36, was killed on January 13, 2016, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. At around 8:08 p.m., Philadelphia Police officers responded to the 300 block of North Gross Street after reports of a violent incident. Atkinson was discovered behind a retail pharmacy, having sustained multiple stab wounds. He was transported to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
