Ancelmo Maldonado Castillo

In the early morning hours of December 23, 2015, a call about a man down led Roanoke police to a residence on Eastern Avenue NE. Inside, they discovered the body of 44-year-old Ancelmo Maldonado Castillo, a male victim who had suffered a fatal gunshot wound to his upper body. Paramedics arrived at the scene but were unable to revive him, and he was pronounced dead inside his home. The initial investigation pointed to a heated altercation that had spiraled into deadly violence.
