Jerrica Johnson, age 24, was found dead on May 3, 2013, in her home on Spann Avenue in the Fountain Square neighborhood of Indianapolis. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a 911 call at approximately 7:00 a.m. indicating that a woman was unresponsive. Upon arrival, officers discovered Jerrica deceased inside her residence, and homicide detectives were immediately called in to investigate the scene.
