A sense of unease settled over a quiet Indianapolis neighborhood on September 22, 2016, when a teenage boy, concerned that his friend hadn't been on the school bus, made a grisly discovery. Peeking into his friend's home on Soaring Eagle Court, he saw a man lying on the floor and immediately ran for help. The subsequent police investigation would uncover a tragic scene inside the residence.
