On April 14, 2023, the quiet of an early morning in Indianapolis, Indiana, was shattered by a violent home invasion that claimed the lives of two women and left a teenage boy fighting for his life. Jersie Rainne Castner, an 18-year-old female, was inside a duplex located in the 3500 block of Brookside Parkway South Drive, situated near Brookside Park on the city’s near east side.
