On October 30, 2017, Veronica D. Hayes, aged 45, was found dead in her home on the 1500 block of Goodlet Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) responded to the scene and discovered Hayes with multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities confirmed her death as a homicide, and the case remains under investigation.
