In the summer of 2018, a promising young life was tragically cut short in Roanoke, Virginia. Jacob Aldridge, a 19-year-old Caucasian male from Salem, found himself in the 1600 block of Eastern Avenue NE on the night of July 10th. It was around 10 p.m. when the sound of gunfire shattered the evening calm. Aldridge was behind the wheel of his Mercedes when he was struck by a bullet in the back of his head.
