On a summer evening in Roanoke, Virginia, the life of 34-year-old Brandon Scott Williams was tragically cut short. On July 1, 2024, Williams, a Black male, was shot and fatally wounded in the 2700 block of Mountainaire Avenue NW. The incident prompted an immediate investigation by the Roanoke Police Department.
