In the spring of 2022, the life of 31-year-old Ulysses K. Williams was tragically cut short in Roanoke, Virginia. On the afternoon of May 4th, police responded to the 1200 block of Hanover Avenue NW to find Williams lying in the street, suffering from a critical gunshot wound. Despite the immediate response from first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene. The sudden violence of his death left a void in the lives of his family and friends, who remembered him as a loving father and son.
