In the summer of 2015, the life of 37-year-old Geoffrey Maina Ndwiga, a male of Kenyan ethnicity, was tragically cut short in a Roanoke, Virginia motel room. His body was discovered by an employee at the Rodeway Inn on the morning of June 29th. The initial investigation by the Roanoke Police Department quickly determined that Ndwiga's death was a homicide. An autopsy later confirmed that he had died from gunshot wounds.
