Savion Scales, a 17-year-old from Roanoke, Virginia, tragically lost his life on September 11, 2019. He was found with a gunshot wound to his chest in a car in southwest Roanoke. The incident occurred at the intersection of 13th Street Southwest and Campbell Avenue Southwest, where neighbors reported hearing multiple gunshots. Despite the efforts of Roanoke Fire-EMS, Savion was pronounced dead at the scene.
