In the summer of 2018, the life of Cedric Bernard Gillum, a 30-year-old male from Salem, was tragically cut short in Northwest Roanoke, Virginia. On the evening of Sunday, July 29th, police responded to a call at the Embassy Inn on Melrose Avenue. There, they discovered Gillum suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
