On a tragic Friday afternoon in Roanoke, Virginia, the life of Bobby Ray Cundiff, a 40-year-old White male, came to a sudden and violent end. On May 13, 2016, police were called to a residence in the 4400 block of Holmes Street NE for a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival at approximately 12:40 p.m., they discovered a scene of immense sorrow and unanswered questions. Inside the home, officers found Mr. Cundiff and a female acquaintance, 43-year-old Melissa Lynn Cook.
