On May 23, 2008, Kiaira Kisihay Jones, aged 22, was shot and killed outside The Bottle Factory, a nightclub located at 733 Roland Street in Salisbury, Maryland. The incident occurred around 2:00 a.m. when a large crowd of patrons was exiting the venue. According to reports, an unidentified individual fired multiple gunshots into the crowd, and Kiaira was struck.
